Here it is, grief, showing up again in December. It happens every year and it is unexpected every time. I must forget about the previous year and/or expect it to wear off somehow. I mean it has been 11 years? 11 years since mum died and still with this bullshit? I once thought having my own kids might “fix Christmas” but it makes me miss her, and my dad, more.

I’m trying out Apple Music because I got a free trial. I know I shouldn’t care about this because it is perfectly functional but I can’t get past the fact the UI feels like when I used iTunes in 2010 😭 It’s a real Spotify for boomers vibe.
